Neal (keys/vocal) invites you to meet some of his ‘Imaginary Friends’, including Ray Charles, Nat King Cole, Oscar Peterson, George Benson & Stevie Wonder. His visible friends on stage are Rob Palmer (guitar), Al Swainger (bass) & Buster Birch (drums). Together they make up a highly entertaining & swinging band.

Nicola is widely recognised as one of the classiest jazz singers and double bassists in the UK. She has a passionate and swinging style, outstanding personality, and a charasmatic stage presence to match. Her repertoire embraces both classic jazz standards and her own originals. With her tonight are Mark Edwards (keys), Phil Johnson (drums) and Andy Panayi (sax & flute).
The Island Project featuring Shireen Francis (vox), Dominic Grant (gtr), Fergus Gerrand (perc) and jazz Steel Pan played by Adam Ouissellat. A combination of Caribbeanrhythms and contemporary Jazz harmony.
Featuring Count Basie’s music, Andy’s Big Band will be playing the iconic 1958 album ‘The Atomic Mr Basie’ in its entirety in the original arrangements. Taking over Basie’s piano stool is Roy Hilton, with Paul Whitten (bass), Phil Crabbe (drums), & vocalists Yvonne Lloyd & Dave Williams adding a little magic to more Basie classics.
The wonderful vocalist Anita Wardell will be performing with a fabulous trio.
The wonderful Elaine Delmar, a superlative vocalist will be joined by Roy Hilton (keys), Simon Thorpe (bass) and Bobby Worth (drums).
Our Christmas Special concert this year is Simon Thorpe’s band Jivin’ Miss Daisy. With the wonderful Liz Fletcher (vox), the band also has a 4-piece horn section and a 4-piece rhythm section with some of the very best musicians anywhere in the world. They will be performing a combination of feel-good music from the 30’s & 40’s. It’s going to be a fun evening with Muld Wine and Mince Pies to help you get into the mood!
