Terry (tenor sax) leads his band playing great tunes from the famous ‘Blue Note’ jazz record label from the 50’s & 60’s with special guest Andy Panayi on alto sax.

The Nigel Price Organ Trio. Led by multi-award winning guitarist Nigel Price and featuring Ross Stanley (organ) and Joel Barford (drums). The trio tours extensively every year, playing to packed houses and getting great reviews like this: “This is just about as good as it gets, whether you’re into guitar, organ, sax, drums or simply great jazz.”
Featuring Count Basie’s music, Andy’s Big Band will be playing the iconic 1958 album ‘The Atomic Mr Basie’ in its entirety in the original arrangements. Taking over Basie’s piano stool is Roy Hilton, with Paul Whitten (bass), Phil Crabbe (drums), & vocalists Yvonne Lloyd & Dave Williams adding a little magic to more Basie classics.
Roger Beaujolais (vibes) & Tommaso Starace (sax) – they’ve both played here before but never together, though they frequently share a stage at clubs & festivals across the UK & Europe.
Expect plenty of fireworks from these two superb musicians, in a quartet which also features ace double bass player Nigel Thomas & drum maestro Milo Fell.
The Andy Williams/Joss Peach Quartet. Local heros Andy (guitar) and Joss (keys) team up with Terry Pack (bass) and Angus Bishop (drums). A wide ranging mix of standards, Latin/contemporary tunes and a smattering of originals too, presented in a style of jazz with a more European vibe – plus a nod in the direction of Pat Metheny.
The Nighthawks explore film in a jazz setting, from Legrand to Bacharach, & films such as Butch Cassidy & The Thomas Crown Affair, arranged by leader George Trebar (bass). They also play originals & an eclectic mix from the jazz canon.
Joining George are Roy Hilton (keys), Matt Wates (sax) & Joe Edwards (dms). Tonight their CD ‘Pages & Frames’ is launched.
The wonderful vocalist Anita Wardell will be performing with a fabulous trio.
